Tia Manning

BSc (Hons) Social Psychology, MSc Occupational Psychology, PGDip Relationship Counselling, RPsychol PSI, INPP & Tomatis® Practitioner

I am a Registered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland, holding a Master's degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate qualification in Counselling. I am also a licensed practitioner of the INPP Method of Reflex Integration and the Tomatis® Listening Programme.

Before establishing my private practice, I worked extensively in Occupational Psychology and Relationship Counselling. Taking time out to raise my own children gave me an even deeper appreciation of child development, learning, and the challenges that many children, adults, and families experience every day.

Throughout my career, I have seen how children and adults with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder often receive valuable educational supports that help them succeed in school and college. These supports are essential and can make a significant difference. However, they are often designed to accommodate challenges rather than support the development of the underlying skills that contribute to learning, attention, coordination, sensory processing, and emotional regulation.

This understanding led me to train in the INPP Method of Reflex Integration and the Tomatis® Listening Programme. These neurodevelopmental approaches are designed to complement educational and therapeutic supports by helping to strengthen the foundations that underpin learning, movement, communication, attention, and emotional wellbeing.

My goal is to help children and adults build stronger foundations for lifelong learning and everyday functioning. While educational supports may reduce as individuals move into further education, employment, and adult life, the skills developed through a neurodevelopmental approach can continue to support confidence, independence, resilience, and participation across all aspects of life.

Every individual is unique. My approach is warm, supportive, and tailored to each person's needs, working collaboratively with families and individuals to help them reach their potential and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and ease.
